How do Sire Guitars make their guitars?
All SIRE basses are built in our own factory in Indonesia and China. SIRE basses are not OEM production by a third party which is actually the case for major companies. Contrary to that, all SIRE basses are “in-house” production. This is where the difference comes and is to our advantage. We have complete control over all the production process on site, all the time. We sell them directly through company web store. There is no middleman such as wholesalers, retailers, etc. Such process would end up pushing the bass price up over thousand dollars easily. And we also do not have physical stores, showrooms, etc. because these are also high expenses that would need to be funded by the sales. So in order to offer such quality instruments at absolute rock bottom price and offer to our players, we need to cut costs in every corner possible and put that savings back into building fine instruments. Our mission and motto is building professional quality instruments and offer at insane price. This was the shared vision with SIRE Company and Marcus Miller, to make music available for everyone, professional, young and old.
Although the demand is strong and SIRE basses are praised all over the place, and are sold out as soon as they get into our warehouse, we will stand by our commitment of never sacrificing quality and do our best to bring the bass instruments to our players. To make this happen, we have a quota in production to make sure we do not sacrifice quality over quantity.
